James announce winter 2008 tour

James are set to embark on a winter tour later this year.

The band will play six UK dates in December, culminating in a homecoming show at Manchester Central on December 19.

James' first new album in seven years, 'Hey Ma', is out today (April 7).

James will play:

Leeds Carling Academy (December 11)
Glasgow SECC (12)
Birmingham NIA (13)
Brixton Carling Academy (15,16)
Manchester Central (19)

Tickets for the winter tour go on sale on Friday April 25

Are they still together?

That brings back some memories. I think I saw them live once but can't remember when... at least a decade and a half ago.

Yes they did split up and the lead singer done a solo album. They reformed last year as they were at V festival and I believe done a tour last month which obviously was a success as they have announced another one.

The Inspirals also seem to split up regulary and do a reunion tour once a year. Along with Shed 7. Both wicked bands live.
