alicante city it is! it's the hotel amerigo right in the centre and i can't wait to get out into all the bars in town. there are some fabulous places to frink, dine, tapear, or listen to live music. last week over 50,000 people thronged the beach for a live concert with groups and there's a jazz festival on at the moment.

We noticed quite a few nudes last time we drove through so no worries there.

Del 13 al 28 de julio el jazz será el protagonista de la vida cultural de Alicante. Esas son las fechas escogidas para la celebración de la novena edición del Festival Internacional de Jazz de Alicante. La principal novedad de este año es el cambio de ubicación ya que el festival abandona el Puerto de la capital alicantina para irse a la Ciudad Ibero-romana de Lucentum en el yacimiento arqueológico de Tossal de Manises. A punto de cumplir sus primeros diez años de vida, el certamen contará con grandes artistas. Roberta Flack, Herbie Hancock, George Benson, Chano Domínguez, Gilberto Gil y Wynton Marsalis serán los artistas invitados a esta edición.
