Winter is a time for rejuvination- the earth cleanses itself and the water table is reset. The peaceful slumber of winter is rather inspiring- I can take a walk around my hilly, rural town in the snow, be the only person out there and by the time I come home I'll have a poem written. It's rather peaceful. Also, winter is a great time to curl up next to someone special
Summer is boisterous and cocky. What you see is what you get. Winter is all about the hidden beauty that only a few -priveleged- can see.

it was snowin in dublin last week n the week b4 absolutely boltic it has been... arrivin to work wit a lil red nose....
nice wakin up to a blizard... knowin u have to leave your cosy bed to walk against the snow... wait on a bus that will be late ect... lol
but still the snow does look pretty

8 days in a row I have seen snow now in Reading, though very little settled, but its pretty...roll on for an unusually warm end of March perhaps?

Update: I had to head back out in the blizzard to the bank machine to add some money to my broadband internet account before they cut me off (I just realized it was March 1). It's snowed a few more centimeters since I came home from work 5 hours earlier, and it's not stopping. There's been snow on the ground for a month and a half now. Ya, it's pretty and all until your slipping and sliding your way down ice trails embedded in the sidewalks.

That's the worst- Winter rain. Most of the time it's one or two degrees above freezing, so this almost-freezing water soaks your coat and chills you to your bones. With Snow you can go out and do Winter things and with it dry and sunny you can go out and do Summer things but what is one to do when it is cold and rainy?

Not going, it's too cold and too late, cos the club priorities are not the "socios" and "peñas", the club priorities is TV rights so the game is at 10.00

Lucky for me Sky Sports 1 are showing it live too..

Yes, that's the problem, but it all depends on TV schedules
There's lots of Peñas that come to barça every game from all over Catalunya, even from Andorra, so they deserve a bit more of respect...
And it's a derby and it's a good derby

I was always thought the late kick offs were a bit strange, it would be weird to come out of a game at 12 midnight
