Minus 30 with a wind chill of minus 46. :cry:

I wore so many layers on my walk to work today. :evil:

I looked like a marshmallow.

I cant even begin to imagine how cold that is - I mean we get cold and that's like -5 (including the wind chill factor) but I just cant imagine how cold -46 really is - is that like freezer temp or more/less????

I think the freezer is only about minus18-minus20.:confused:

There are always homeless people who die. :cry:

Its supposed to be up to minus 25 by Friday, so things are looking up! :lol:

I even get cold in ibiza in August! :lol:

but last July and August it got up to 37, 38 degrees... who else lives in a place that has an 84 degree temperature span?
 
Britain comes to a standstill when it snows a wee bit, I dread to think what it'd be like here with that kind of weather.
 
Sitting in Paris today and it's -1 and foggy / misty

Plus we were just evacuated due to a fire alarm (false alarm) so 30 minutes outside was just plain miserable....

yeah about a month ago we had someone pull a fire alarm at work and had to go outside. i was doing a presentation and i had no coat. Thank god it was only minus 20 that day! :lol:
 
I've been out in conditions like that and I've got to say they are most unpleasant! :lol:

Only -6 C here today... and snow. Tolerable. But 2 years ago this week was -32 C and we were suffering!
 
in ibiza the last few days, it was chilly/foggy/misty and even a touch of frost in the morning.

by about 10am, there were clear blue skies and the sun was shining and it was a beautiful warm day, even suitable for sunbathing.

it was like the summer day you dream of in england.
