went to see it the other night, thought it was an alright film, couple of laughs in it and boy did it put me in the mood to be in ibiza, bring on september 8)

i saw it last night, hence why im back here lol

I loved the background in the film, parts of it i was sitting there thinking wow, i totaly love ibiza an cant wait to get back out there

i thought it was good, paul kaye totaly looked the part, wicked actor :D

See Weekend Rundowns post, I thought it was absolutely terrible, for saying they'd been talking about it for last 2 years what an absolute let down, even the Ibiza bits didn't save it imo. And as for a story line, what story line

a big name fictional dj by the name of frankie wilde starts losing his hearing then mysteriously(sp) go's missing in ibiza then he reappears on the island where he discovers a new way of being able mix throughout this his wife leaves him and he pickes up a new girlfriend who's deaf and teaches him sign language.

Hmmm, sounds interesting. Wide range of opinions on it here. Babs is repulsed, while lots of others are raving about the Ibiza clips. Would you rather be blind or deaf? I can't imagine a world without the music..... :(

The Ibiza clips are pretty minimum and are only really at the beginning of the film, the rest of the film is just so weak it's unbelievable imo.

See when I think back about it, I cant actually think of any redeeming features of the film at all. I suppose it might have been the hypes fault. I didnt think it was funny, if anything I thought it was quite sad at times.

Occasionaly glimpse of Ibiza was nice, but I've got music dvds to stick on when i wanna go there in my head. Overhyped crap film. Sorry.

I thought it was great. The guitar bit that finally deafens him is so painful, you know what's coming and I really had to force myself to keep watching. The going mad sequence is tough going too. It wasn't what I was expecting, I thought it was going to be another Human Traffic, but it was very good.
