We're baaaaaaaack!
"I have played some great London gigs recently, first was at a night called “it would be rude not to"... the UK has been a lot stronger club wise with so many cool underground nights popping up." - Jo Mills (DC10) – Ibiza Voice
Known for its excellent resident and guest DJs, up-front music policy and a philosophy that focuses on smiling, dancing people, it would be rude not to has been created for those of us who go out to lose it on the dancefloor, meet like minded souls, and hear the very best in new house music.
Joined by guests that have included Jo Mills (DC10), Tania von Pear (Going Places/MOS Radio), Pavel Loginov (Moscow) and Moose (Oven Ready), it would be rude not to residents Anil Chawla and Mark Sun[/b] specialise in the tougher, dirtier side of house – the kind of beats that make you feel like a crafty cigarette and a shower afterwards.
"If you like your house tuff, edgy and techy then check out [it would be rude not to] for a night of happy sounds for happy people" - Timeout
On Saturday, the 4th of September, it would be rude not to returns to Fluid in the heart of the city for more housed up naughtiness.
Now with a new residency at London uber-club Turnmills, and with numerous appearances at The Gallery, City Loud, Fandango and on Ministry of Sound radio, Anil Chawla is being touted by some of the big names as the one to watch this year. When asked who should be made a Mixmag Future hero this year, Radio One resident Nic Fanciulli thought of Anil: “His enthusiasm behind the decks is wicked, and he plays great music, so he’s definitely one.”
Joining Anil will be it would be rude not to head honcho Mark Sun, fresh from a string of gigs at The Cross, Turnmills and the Rhythm Factory. Known for his up-beat and dirty sets that combine jackin’ and tribal house with sleazy breaks, Mark’s become a firm favourite with late-night crowds all over London.
On warm up duty, it’s our pleasure to welcome the irrepressible Katie Smiles – the name says it all, and this young lady will make you do just that. Spinning a delicious blend of proper house music, be prepared to grin the night away to her infectious grooves.
