Hi!
This was my first visit, so had no real idea what to expect. I went in a group of five 30something lasses over this last weekend. We ended up in Plastik on Thursday (31st). Music good, just felt there was a little bit of a chav element to it especially as the evening progressed.
Friday, was Eden, we were so exicited especially as we had managed to pick up bargin tickets before we flew out. Was very impressed at how quickly we were ushered through. I loved wandering round the venue and getting a vibe for where was best to place ourselves. Unfortunately, we ended up dancing where all I could describe as a cattle market - one of my mates was happy as she was on the pull, however the rest of us were keen to see what Eden could produce and were also disappointed not to be able to watch Pete doing what he is best at (we made a pact not to leave anyone on their own). I thought his set was good, but wouldn't say I was blow away by his performance. Best part of the night was coming out and sitting on the beach watching sunrise - Mr Tong can never beat that for me! Also, HOW EXSPENSIVE?!! 40 EUROS 5 BOTTLES OF WATER!!
Saturday, we started at Bar M were Zane was playing. He was amazing. He had the crowd eating out of his hands and he knew it! We then moved onto Ground Zero. I know, I know, one night dance next night indie..blah, blah, blah! This was by far my best night! Eveyone there was there to dance to music that they loved not to be bumped and grinded to.
I really enjoyed Ibiza. But for most of the time it felt like a night out in any major city in this country except it was in a lovely location!
