Me and my friends are planning to go ibiza in august 07 and all i hear them saying is.. " i dont think i can afford to pay 25 for entry to a club and then 8 for each drink i buy! "

i try and explain to them that their might be people handing out fliers for discounted entry to a club or even for a free drink. but they dont believe me...hopefully im right????

so, is there fliers i could pick up for free dirnks or discounted entry for the clubs?????

get back to me asap before my friends decide to go somewhere cheaper! cheers.

hmmm

you cn pay upwards of 50 euros a night for the bigger events, and the drinks are usually 7 euros at their cheapest. you do get discounted events, especially if you go at the start and end of the season. ask the right people and you ccan pick up guestlist or reduced entry pretty easy too.

majority of people who dont dabble on the dark side tend to get tanked up before they go in, and if they get a passout they top up again. you shoul liken it to paying to get in a concert though. back home you get clubbing for 4-5 hours tops. over there some parties go on for 22 hours. my advice, save up and have the best time of your life :)

ive done september on £500 for the week, but ive also spent a lot more than that! magalluf is much cheaper, but its totally ****e (imho). full of arseholes on cheap bevvy missions grabbing at women everywhere. ibiza is more expensive, but its well worth it.

yes unfortunately you need a small fortune when going into clubs and drinks prices are scandalous but eating out can be a lot cheaper.

it is expensive... depends if you want to hit all the big clubs... then yes, you will be paying 30 -50 to get in... 8 euro for a drink... thats just for the water.

I go out most nights in ibiza, maybe taking one night off, so i pay the cover, usually buy about 4 or 5 waters... range from 6- 10 euro for a wee bottle of water.

if you just want to go out to bars, then you won't pay as much.

it IS worth it IMO :)

If it's cheep booz 'til 6am you are after + a night like in most towns in the UK go to the west end in San An Ibiza, Tenerife or Magaloof where you get a free shot in every club / bar as you go in (no charge to get in + Prices like the UK for booz). Lots of young girls in wonder brars, short scurts and low morrals (See Ibiza uncovered).

Or you could have one or two nights in some of the bigest and best clubs in the world listerning to the worlds best DJs (and DJ Sammy)

I think as you are posing the question you know the answer.

After being Ibiza and Malia this year, Ibiza is definitely the place to go. Its expensive but so what its worth it once you are out there and believe me you wont want to come back - we didnt.

We went all inclusive for £300 which meant we could get "tanked" up before we left the hotel to hit the bars/clubs. I took £500 spending money and pretty much spent it came back with about £80 but we went to a club every night, and we were staying out the way so relied on taxis a lot. Some tickets we bought from our rep and they were slightly cheaper but not much.

I think its worth the money to be honest, yeah you can get a cheaper holiday in Malia or somewhere the same but its just not the same as Ibiza.

I cant wait to go back and go to all the places I didnt get to this year

Babs, isn't this the title of your autobiography?

Back in the distant past I went to Ibiza with Twenties (similar to 18-30s) and you can pay for the usual excursions like pub crawls with shots in every bar, booze cruise etc. They also took us to Es Paradis. Although the most exciting night we had was when we bought our own tickets and got the bus to Privilege for Manumission. Couldn't afford to get drunk but it was still an amazing experience.

You could just pick one or two nights you really want to go to, then the rest of the time take advantage of cheap bars in San An and free places like Bora Bora in Playa D'en Bossa.

I agree this is prob the best way to do it if you dont want to spend a lot

i have never once been ripped off in ibiza. i must go to all the wrong places?

Or maybe it's the other way round and tis' you who are being ripped off by never taking out a 2nd mortgage to be sneered at by the folk at such luminary establishments such as Base and Es Vive. Mediterrainian fusion anyone - (or something)
