is it just me.......

Yes!!!!! x a billion

We were having this conversation at the wkend - I can see why Take That are still appealing but wtf are the Spice Girl's target audience  I mean they're older than me and I certainly wouldn't want to see me and my friends prance about on stage :spank::lol:

Age isn't always important. Tina Turner, prior to her retirement from touring a few years back, was a great example of how an older woman could prance around on stage and still be 8)

With Spice Girls, it's more the lack of talent that's an issue

I dont even want to see photos of me and my friends prancing around on a dancefloor -:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Besides they all look strange

Geri = her expression looks like she's having permanent colonic Irrigation
Posh = less said the better - even her fake breasts have shrunk!!!
Scary = that fog horn of a voice - Bo Selecta!!
Sporty = why is she doing it????
Baby = I like baby since she did Strictly Come Dancing... so she's ok!!! ;)

Boyzone reforming - see Spice Girls - they should say NO!!

hey! Leave the Police out of this. They actually have talent!

Glad you also left out the Sex Pistols... they don't have talent, per se, but I'm dying to catch them live one day

are you for real!?!?
Uh, well, ya!

Tina Turner is an icon. Full stop. Probably one of the top female rock performers of the past century.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen her live but I've seen some video of her concerts.

I remember back in the 1980s when she made her big comeback - you couldn't find a magazine article about her that didn't mention her legs. That was when she was nearly 50.

She retired from touring in the late 1990s when she hit 60 because she decided it "was no longer dignified" to be prancing around stage. Some people have a later sell-by date than others, but at least some know when that date is!

I'll slip this in at the end, but I was so happy to see the money making machine that is Kylie the 'goddess' get a slagging from Ian Brown. Not even that fit. Certainly not dirty. Not intelligent. Nothing to say. Does not write own songs. Why pray does she get the coverage, other than the great big media conspiracy to take money off the stupid people? And dont say because she is 'brave'!

They are and have always been rubbish...but I wouldnt mind a percentage of their wealth tho:spank::spank::spank:

didn't intentionally leave the Pistols out
talented yes
best left to legend - yes

my rant wasn't about talent - more people resurrecting bands to cash in

i wish i'd seen The Libertines live
but not so sure about a reunion - they've moved on now

I liked them back when everybody liked them - but I was 12 at the time - I liked their songs and always wanted to be Ginger Spice
I must have been impressionable at that age!

But I couldnt say I want to see them now, its just not the same

If your tastes have totally changed, that's one thing.

But there are lots of groups from the past couple of decades that I'd love a chance to see live. It's like a second chance to catch the ones you missed!
