is ibiza expensive?

6 girls flyin out to ibiza on the 24th june 2 weeks stayin in club parisio, nebody else stayed there n wot is it like? also how much are drinks over there n enterance to the clubs? we plan on all gettin hammered ova there cant wait!

Do a search on club prices, drink prices etc on this forum.....

Generally clubs charge from 20€ - 50€ depending on the club, the night, the DJ.

Drinks in the clubs and the sunset bars are the most expensive, this also includes bottles of water, expect to pay around 5-7€ for water around 8-10€ bor lager and 12-15€ for spirits with a mixer.

Dont panic at the thought of mega prices - just do a search as suggested, you will find tips on were to buy your tickets in advance (which sometimes include a free drink on arrival) and for cheaper bars to drink in around the West End in San An.....

You can spend as little or as much as you want in Ibiza - depends on how you budget.... (70 - 100€ a day is my budget for clubs, drinks and food) somedays you will spend far less.......8)
 
hey i stayed at club pariso last year in sept. rooms are really big if you have 1 bed apartment.

if you have a studio they are really small.

the pool was freezing too cold to use it at all.

ibiza is an amazing place you could spend easily 2000 in 2 wks.
but you can defo do it on a budget 2. i would take at least 1000.

just buy your ticket for clubs during the day or at stalls next to mambo most tickets for things r 37euros that includes a free drink. most times that includes a bus there 2.except for sundays at space 55 euros (free drink and if four of u's in a taxi get a recipt and they'l refund you the money)

Ibiza is like a lovely women, very expensive but well worth it.

It all depends on what you want to do, eat out everynight, spend more time in bars, clubs etc... I never really drink much in clubs, just a few waters, normally drink before after etc...

Just bring back-up frunds, credit card, cos if it's your only holiday for the year you don't want to be falling short.
 
1500 quid should make sure u have a superb holiday. i spent that in 2 weeks and went out to a big club every nite. well worth it.

i have stayed in the catalina, it was 1 of the best i have stayed in. perfectly situated, and with a bit of luck u will have a nice view from ur balcony
 
club paraiso

I stayed in club paraiso in june 2002.
It was with Thomson "Just".
The apartment was really clean and in good order, but watch the railings on the balcony - didn`t appear too well screwed to the wall.
It is located in the more residential scruffy part of town opposite a primary school, 5-10 minutes from sunset strip and the harbour.:(
It had security guards on the front entrance making sure that only guests stayed the night.;)
The entertainment was adult orientated.:p
I enjoyed my stay but it wasnt too easy to sleep with the noise, but if your a clubber then you should be fine.:(

just heard some thing about the poniente playa, that you get security cards or some thing that you have to show when you go in so that they dont get other people stayin there, any one know if this is true?
 
Ibiza is expensive... more expensive than any other trips I've been on.. but its well worth it. Its the only 'resort' type of place that I've ever been to so I guess I can't compare it to other places.

I don't see the point in spending much on accomodation, as you'll spend very little time in your room

I go out clubbing every night and eat out 3 times a day. Alcohol can double your budget, depending on how much you drink I hardly drank at all, stayed in a fairly cheap hotel and got a good price on a rental car.

It will abuse your bank account seriously mate.

haha oh god dont say tha hun am workin overtime just to make sure i av as much money as i can! av a feelin am guna come bk in debt! lol
 
Didn't mean to scare you. Some people will come on and say "Ibiza isnt expensive.. blah blah" - They probably won't be going out much.

If you are doing some serious clubbing then you will need a lot of money. Unless you are getting sorted everything for free.

It is usually worth it though ;) :twisted:
 
£600-£1000 id say, although ive managed it on £400, but thats with knowing what places to go to, and getting in some clubs free,plus i dint really get drunk, you get HIGH off the atmosphere of the people and the place!
 
When we went back in 2002, we clubbed/barred it every night and spent a TON! We're on a much tighter budget this time, so we'll only be larging it every other night to make the pennies stretch a little bit further... still plan to have a fab time tho'.
 
you can take guests to paraiso if you wish provided they have photo id.

guards are friendly and will even make sure you are adequately protected ;)

never stayed but was a guest one night!

1) BUY BOOZE FROM THE SPA

2) ARRANGE THE NIGHTS YOU WANT TO GO TO (DONT LISTEN TO PR SALES TALK)

3) AVOID THE WEST END IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE REAL IBIZA DO IT ONCE IF YOU GET HOME SICK (ANYMORE THAN ONCE & YOU'RE A DEFF CHAV !

4) RENT A CAR OR SCOOTER ----- SEE THE REAL IBIZA GO TO ITS LITTLE TOWNS AND VILLAGES (GORGEOUS)

LAST BUT NOT LEAST YOU MUST GO TO ------ MADE IN ITALY @ AMNESIA

Not bad if theirs 2 of you itll be fine ! we had 4 in a room was 2 cramped !

CAREFULL WITH THE BALCONYS !!!!!!!!


check the BQ's out they have in the evening buy the pool :D (I can taste them now)

YES! Made In Italy is class, and girls can get free tickets so that saves some euros as well :twisted: PRs are ok but completely ignore holiday reps from your hotel as they are on commision and completely rip you off. My mates came over to see me, and ended up spending over 200 euros on a trip to manumission and a booze cruise :shock: :shock: :(
 
Ibiza is like said before as expensive as you want to...
If you go clubbing every night, its very very expensive
There's a lot more than the club scene.

Our holidays ther are 100 eur/day and we really have fun, we go to a few clubs like space, pacha and el devino. But most of the time we're at Bora Bora, Las salinas ,
Mambo Café, KM5...

Oh yes about th drinking thing, it's true alcohol is expensive.
We've an all-in arangement, so we drink before we go out and a botlle of Absinthe always does the trick...

for example our holiday cost:
650 euro in a 4* hotel all-in
+ 8*100 euro

so 1450 euro
