I'm going to Bangalore in India to work for three weeks and really know nothing about the place. Are there any well travelled people on here who can offer some advice on what it is like for eating out, drinking etc?

I got some info from one guy on Fri just as I was leaving work - unfortunately he was actually working in Mumbai last time so his response was a bit useless for Bangalore travelling but he did give some handy tips on India in general so once I am back on Monday, I will post you the other responses I will have/should have received.
