Three days was way too long. I can't imagine how it was in 1980 when the union was on strike for 11 days. The union leaders were, as Mayor Bloomberg said, acting like thugs.

But it's done now and New York is back on track. You'll have a grand old time on holiday here in NY!
 
NYC during Christmas has got to be one of the most classic sights when all the lights are on and the big tree is lit. Maybe next year...
 
Hey Jonbawls, i am also coming to New York. I'll be living there for 4 months to study. I live in London and love my clubbing :p Is there any surefire tips you can give or places worth trying. I know you now have a Pacha and have heard good things about crobar and cielo??? It might be worth mentioning that as a student i am very interested in any places that don't cost an arm and a leg (like Pacha surely will) Any info would be appreciated i get out there at end of January and can't wait! Cheers
