what makes it stand out? well thats the million dollar question isnt it.
but I can tell you what always stands out to customers. becuase I am in fashion distribution and sales..
PRICE!!!

Use good fabrics and stylish designs with a CHEAP PRICE! and you will sell items like hot cakes.. its the people who are greedy and over charge who end up with a rack full of clothes , then by the end of the season they are putting up the SALE sign... by that time everyone has left!!
and you are stuck with merchandise which you have to sell next year!
dont be to greedy and you will survive..
of course you wont get rich! but you will make money to accomadate your lifestyle.. thats what you are after right?

I was thinking of opening a shop. Ive never done anything like this before though. Wouldnt know where to get stock or how much i would expect to pay? I imagine this sort of thing would be even harder in ibiza. I was thinking of selling clothes aimed for young funky people. Very much like the "rebublic" stores we now have in England. Those shops sell comfortable good looking clothes that you can wear on a saturday night, That dont cost the earth!

Have you any experience with buying stock etc?
 
You'd still need to cover your overheads. Who's to say folks will buy? Big risk involved, do you have funding etc.? Coffeetime, you're an expert on everything! you crack me up boyo :lol:
 
how about a hot dog trolly as they have in New York - €0.5 for a hot dog or British style on a grill with onions for €3
or French style ina stick for $2

but I dont think people are gonna buy dildos to use on there new found girlfriends that they picked up at space are they? might freak the girls out..
so your market are couples pretty much.. and I dont think couples are into buying erotic toys or dvds to spice up their sexlife on ibiza! they can easily buy those back home.. they are here on vacation..
of course there will always be some tourists that will buy some items
but will that be enough to cover costs and then generate profits for you?
I dont think so..
but then again.. you never know do you..

just happens that I have opened 2 of my stores and my father has opened countless stores. and when it comes to fashion well. I own a fashion business in south korea selling womans clothes, online and internationally... but Im still jack! and master of none.
so the only things I do know are in this thread hahahaha
IM pretty useless on every other thread..
and also I have never been to ibiza so I havent seen the location or even know the market area..
Im far from an expert! in anything!
