One of the 3,567,935 great things about Formentera is that there are (to my knowledge) no bars offering Sky Sports - not the UK Sky anyway. (OK, in Es P there are bars offering Sky Italia....but I've not yet seen any British footy via them :roll:)

But, if by some miracle Sky (UK) disappeared from Ibiza, would that stop you going??

Just like Andy Gray & Richard Keys:lol:

When the missus & i go on holiday i always take along my trusty Dell latitude PC which is light/small enough to pack as hand luggage. Thus on arrival at a resort if i wish for watching a particular Sporting event etc then i simply seek out a free WIFI area and log onto one of the many free Internet Sport sharing sites for watching the game, afterall why pay for drinks in a bar showing the Sports when often you can watch the same Football/ Rugby game for free.;)
 
Not at all, Sky Sports is rubbish in general, everytime they use the word 'soccer' it makes me hate them more.

Cause sitting in a bar watching the game with people around you is more fun?
 
I wasn't aware sky sports was actually shown in Ibiza bars???

They must be places you have to seek out to see the channel as I have never seen sky sports in Ibiza over the past 10 years.

Really?

I would say pretty much every English owned bar will have Sky Sports.
