... how difficult would your job be?

And could you achieve the same results, albeit much more slowly?

The commercial side of my job would be a lot harder. But then it would be a lot harder for clients to interogate costs and audit. Which is why if I'd been born twenty years earlier I would of retired very rich ages ago!

It would make my job very very very very very very very difficult but i would learn to deal with it as i wouldn't have any other choice.

I hear that.

I almost remember the days when it was like printing your own money.

I would probably get a lot more done as I wouldnt be pissing about on here all day!!! and I would have to go back to OHP for my presentations ;)

As far as deejaying is concerned, no problem, just use vinyl.

But, writing and creating music I probably wouldn't have got involved in it.

WOW! 8O While writing this my latest mix is playing in the background and theres a computerised vocoder voice singing "I love my computer, I love my music". Spooky co-incident! 8O

try telling sasha that

soon no shows wont be an issue as he will be djing with "ableton" from his house

the world would be a bigger place
niggly thoughts would annoy you for years instead of minutes
your job would be ridiculously harder
music would be more isolated, with people more blinkered to other genres

but at the end of the day, had they not been invented, we wouldn't know any better anyway, and we might have got robots that could do the housework instead. at least theres still women to do that.

Bill Gates would be a brickie
Nitefly would be a virgin...... ;)........on 2nd thoughts.....no computers that good

We are one of the few recruitment agencies still working on a manual system and I must say its easier. If we were computerised and the system went down (as they frequently do) we wouldnt be able to do a thing (which would be good if most of our wages didnt come from bonus!) not even call anyone as all the numbers would be in the system. We go computerised in the new year :?

The agency that i worked for done the same and i have to say its very old and dated and takes 10x longer to locate something than doing it by computer.

Glad to see your moving with the times 8), myold agency will still be using cards in the next 10 years, scrooges.
