Hi

Me and a few friends are going to ibiza in september and I am trying to sort out the airport transfers - the cheapest by far are ibizatransfers.net but can't find reviews on them anywhere.

Has any one used them and if so, what was your experience??!

I notice that a one-way transfer for 1-4 people to San Antonio is £50.00, bit steep that, personally I'd rather queue for a taxi/taxis.
 
There are 7 of us on the way there and 8 on the way back so ibizatransfers.net appears to be the cheapest for that many people...

Wrong!

Ibiza Spotlight's option for 8 people is 70 euros one-way. For 7 people it is 61.25. '

So... 131.25 round trip. That other site is 140 round trip.

Spotlight's vendors are checked and double-checked. You're better off booking through this site ;)

Your better of getting a taxi tbf.

4 of you in one taxi will cost you €30 between you.

I know, those sites aren't worth it unless you are travelling at a time when you know there is gonna be a massive queue at the airport - i.e. evening.

I checked out lowcosttaxis dot com and they wanted 50 euro for 2 for a taxi from the airport to PDB... funk that.

It'll probably cost us about a fiver each in a normal taxi.

Ya, I already said that (read above) :roll:

I only made the comparison because this girl seems intent on pre-booking a transfer (or is trying to advertise this ibizatransfers site :lol:)

I personally would rent a car! The one I've booked this year is cheaper per/day than one taxi ride.
 
We got a taxi last year and I think it was about 30 - 40 euros if I remember rightly , from the airport to the egg. And we got one pretty much right away, early afternoon on a Saturday I think although it was September.
 
a pre booked transfer can be advantageous though more expensive than taxis. our very own james was relating tales of the taxi queue stretching from arrivals to departures in the early hours of the morning just recently. this possible loooooooooooooooong wait can be avoided if you prebook.

I can't find this price you mention above? The cheapest is €171 return that i can see??!!

I'm not intent on pre booking or advertising!! We are arriving on a Tuesday evening - what do people think the queues for taxi's will be like?
 
Transfers are good, if more expensive, because you're guaranteed to be away from the airport pretty sharpish.

In all honesty I usually just bus it being the tight Scottish git that I am :lol:
