Right im going to Ibiza (again) on June 10th for a week with the girlfriend and need to know which is the BEST restaurent on the island. Not bothered about cost, just want to know wheres the best food and best surroundings/views. So if any of you Ibiza gurus could help me out it'd be much appreciated.

Plenty to choose from but my personal faves would be Es Boldado in Cala D'hort for a serious view of Es Vedra with your paella, La Torretta in Dalt Vila for a quality bustling atmos, El Ayoun in San Rafael is beaut, L'Elephant off the main road in time for sunset, Sa Capella outside San An, Bambudda Grove has a nice setting but I found the food a bit hit and miss and Ive been hearing rave reviews of Ama Lur which I intend to try out this year. Or, for a real leftfield alternative, theres good old Wips in San An. ;)

Hope you have a good one.

Ama Lur is apparently great for Spanish speakers but not so good for us "foreigners" but the food is very good and a great inland location. I have been tempted several times myself but as yet have not succumbed, prefering to stick with what I know to be excellent, Es Caliu for meat only menu or my new find Zebra in Cala Llonga for meat and fish dishes. Skuma in the marina at Sta Eulalia is also pretty good for food with a plus of location only 10 metres from the sea.
