Ibiza with my wife May 21st - May 28th

In may I will be taking my wife to Ibiza for the first time in our 10 year relationship staying in san Antonio, I have been going to Ibiza since 2002 and this will be my 8th time but the busy clubbing experience is not my wife's cup of tea, she would like mambo and del mar I'm sure, it's not really a clubbing holiday were going for as 8 weeks after we come back I'm away with the boys back to Ibiza for my yearly visit for 5 days but want some ideas what me and the wife can do, I obviously a fair idea and good knowledge of the island but looking for advice for something different, it's opening week so a lot will be on.

any suggestions welcome

I say take her to an IMS party. I know you say that she's not into clubbing, but I'm quite certain she will love the atmosphere and the spectacle in Dalt Vila. What's not to like?

You could go and then still head for a nice meal afterwards AND catch an early night.

Santa Gertrudas for lunch/coffee
Sa Calleta for lunch
Tapas for Dinner
Pikes for the Sunday Roast
Kumharas for sunset
Ibiza town for shopping and coffee at croissant show

How much is the Sunday Roast at Pikes? Always fancied it myself but never got round to sorting it out, but may reserve if its worth it?

If you can, hire a car. Benirras for sunset, Can Curuné for good value relaxed Ibicenco dinner afterwards (head back up the Benirras road, and when you come to the crossroads where you would normally turn right to go to San Miguel, head straight on and you will eventually come to it at another built up little crossroads).

Also, having a car means you can head over to Es Vedra for sunset, or head up to Las Dalias for the Hippy Market.

defo was thinking IMS, another couple I know from home are coming out aswell so I want her to experience a big club, want to do the space opening it's not that she hates clubbing it's just how crammed they get, and il be able to do all the massive nights 8 weeks later with the boys, benirras is a great shout last time up there was 2005.

Three courses for 35 euro and well worth it. Great vibe, good music and great to chill afterwards for a few beers and cocktails beside the pool.

Agree, Hippy Market worth a visit. If your Mrs is anything like mine they love buying shit and lots of brownie points.

Seemed another space on the car park for the opening party? Inside is a different story. Saying that I walked in, stupidly went to the toilet last time we at opening and lost mrs for 3 hrs doh!

Es Vedra, benirras on the Sunday, hippy market, beach hoping for day up the north east coast, horse riding in the north, boat to Formentera, buy your own drink sit on the beach and watch sun set/or get up early for sun rise.

+1 on the Formentera daytrip (or even an overnight, gives you time to explore and take in sunset and a nice dinner somewhere)
