ibiza weirdos

after reading the post about "spiderman" in the other forum i was just wondering if any of u remeber any other colurful characters around the island.
does any1 remeber that gut called sasha from last yr who walked the streets of san an, he wore a kilt and some kind of strap across his chest then he will chase cats up trees, crawl along the road and tell people "dont walk on the yellow line there poisonus" these yellow lines r parking lines.
 
not sure if it was the same bloke, but we did see a fella walking about San An in his kilt, think he had dark hair, first time we saw him was in Bar M he put his bag down by the DJ the started chating with this stick thing, with bits of string on!!! Bit weirdy, but I walked past him in Kanya bar and he said hello, so I just gave him a sweet grin, wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of him! :confused:

God yeah, I know who you’re talking about. The guy is mad.

What about Loco John? He’s a bit of a character. He is bald and always dresses up really madly in suspenders and stuff. He rides around San An on his bike. The guy is an Ibiza institution!

One summer I had people coming over to visit me and I was at the airport waiting for them. He was there waiting for someone coming over as well but there were really bad storms and all the flights were delayed so we were there for ages. I ended up talking to him for about 2 hours and he’s a really sound guy.

Lol, no that's his name. He is an Ibiza institution, he was resident at Manumission one year but most years he just spends the whole summer on the island caning it. You'll always see him in Space, Pacha, down at Bora Bora and whatever state you're in you know he's going to be worse :p

I've seen him doing Mexican wave at Space at midday and trying to get everyone to join in, climbing a tree at Bora Bora, in a pirate costume, loads of random things.

I didn't see him in June so I hope I see him in September, Ibiza isn't Ibiza without at least a couple of random sightings of Derek each year :p
 
The guy with the snake isn't Derek Dahlarge they look similar but its not him
I spent a lot of time with derek in 99 as my friend was one of the residents at maunumission in the back room
He was a bit of mad man when he got going and he got scary but when he was sober he was pretty normal.

Sorry didn't mean Snake Man was Derek Dahlarge, was just saying that Derek was another Ibiza weirdo :p :D ;)

I can guarantee I always see him on every Ibiza holiday but didn't see him in June, maybe he has retired and hung up his caning shoes :p :D
 
Funny thing, I was was there that day at Bora Bora when Spidey was dancing on tables. If the photo was taken this summer (July).
