ok, it's high-season. maybe a bit a lower high season than usually, but still, it's august now and many places (most famous parties, most popular beaches etc) are well busy now...maybe it's the first august in years where you still find a bit of space for yourself which would be nice in a way...but this weekend has been really busy everywhere.

after having spotlight lunch earlier in the week (hi guys - nice to finally see you all again - dress code for everyone please next time ), i went out clubbing again...as usual ;) so here's some short reviews:

friday august 1 - pure pacha
after not having been to pacha for quite a while, it was nice to enter that club again for a bit of fun. pure pacha that night was perfectly busy, lots of people everywhere and still some room to dance. i loved sander kleinenberg's set and i think everyone else did as well. after every thursdays' f*** me i'm famous mayhem, fridays' pure pacha might be considered as a "smaller" night, but i'd definitely go for this one if i had to choose! trentemoller playing soon!

saturday august 2 - radio 1 at amnesia
i had given R1 a miss when i was here last year, so i was well curious to finally see the "peak of the season" with my own eyes. amnesia was rammed which was no surprise to me...i had looked forward to john digweed's set, but in a way he just didn't make it for me that night so i changed to the terrace and saw justice for the first time ever performing live - was well impressed!

sunday august 3 - we love
one of the best set's i've ever heard of steve lawler! paul oakenfold afterwards...didn't get much of his set so i won't judge! nic fanciulli inside was banging, also claude von stroke who played afterwards!

I also attended Radio 1 party on Saturday @ Amnesia and We Love Sundays @ Space that mentioned sunday.
Both were great!
I personally mostly enjoyed Eddie Halliwell's set on the main room at Amnesia (and usually it's NOT my cup of tea his banging tech-trance style).
As far as WLS goes - it was Ulysess and Tom Novy who i enjoyed hearing mostly on the sunset terrace!
