Hello,

My boyfriend and I have been talking about going to Ibiza. This is going to be our first time. We are thinking about going there in September and want to know if this will be a good time to go or shall we choose another time. Also, any advice on places to stay will be very helpful. Also, I would like to know if we need to buy in advance tickets for the events.
I guess, we are trying to learn more before making a decission.

Thanks all for all the info you can provide.

You should go. Ibiza has something for everyone. So many people return
year after year and I think this says something very positive about the Island.

Where you should stay would depend on what you can see yourself doing during your stay?

Club tickets can be purchased here(If you want to keep all your spending money for actually spending) or over there (advantage is sometimes cheaper and includes free drink sometimes also).

IBIZA Virgins!!

Thanks for your prompt reply!

We definetely want to party!!! but also doing some outdoor stuff. We would love to be by the beach. Any suggestions there? It will be nice to be able to walk to the beach but stil be close to the club scene....It will be great to have the best of both worlds. Too much to ask? I hope not!:p

Do you have budget of how much per night you have for hotel/apt?

I like Figueretas outside Ibiza town, also there are some nice hotels in Playa Den Bossa. Both give access to beach and clubs such as Space, Pacha, DC10, El Divino.

Talamanca is nice on other side of Ibiza town but is very expensive for what you get.

I can give you some names of accom but will depend on budget pretty much.

IBIZA Virgins!!

We honestly want to stay in a nice and comfortable hotel. I was checking in Figuerotas and Playa den Bossa for hotels that have 4 stars and I got 2 results: Torre del Mar and Ibiza Playa.

I went to Torre del Mar's website and I see that not all the rooms have Air conditioning. I did not know that. Also, I dont quiet understand the Twin bed double ocupancy. I was looking for One bedroom with One Queen or King bed....Maybe in Europe they call it something different...I guess I should have said that we are from Florida (USA).

Anyway, what do you think about those hotels? Any other suggestions? We are not looking for Family oriented hotels....any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks again!:)

Hi,

The Torre Del Mar is really nice. I had friends stay there last month and they
really enjoyed it. Also when I was a travel agent I sent many people there who always went back.
Most hotels in Ibiza have two beds rather than one double bed.
Twin Double occupancy just means two people occupying the room rather than
twin single occupancy with just one person in room.

Would go for air con if possible.

Another nice hotel is Los Molinos in Figueretas.

Thanks again! and sorry about all these questions...

Here is another one:
The Djs we really want to see will be at Amnesia and Eden, which is my understanding closer to San Antonio.

Will it be a better idea to stay in San Antonio? Is it easy to commute there? and I guess close enough.....

Thanks again for any input!

Amnesia is on the road between Ibiza town and San An (closer to Ibiza town). You can get a bus from either resort although it is safer to get a taxi right to the door, cause if you get off bus you are on a very busy main road.
Eden is in SanAn, again you can get a taxi from Ibiza town(approx 25 euros) a bus from Ibiza town (2 euros) or you could stay in San An.

There are a few decent hotels in San An but personally my favourite side that I have stayed at is Ibiza town side. I think there are more nationalities, giving a really good international vibe.
