Hi Everyone

We are 5 girls in our mid 20s coming out to San Antonio for the first time - and it is our first girls only holiday. We don't want to miss out on anything good, so could anyone let us know what we should look out for or plan to do? We are there from 11-18 June.

Thanks!:)

more insight into what you are into is needed. what music are you into to? do you care about seeing certain djs? what UK clubs do you go to? what's your budget? do you want to eat out loads? what type of food? do you plan on seeing the island or just the pool, or beaches? are you gonna hire a car?

Ok, we were all into clubbing when we were at Uni, but as that was 4-5 years ago now, we want evenings out that are not too hardcore. We are not bothered about particular DJs, but would prefer that the music was as old school as possible, but just want to go to clubs that have a good eclectic mix of music. We are definitely planning to eat out loads and don't mind what type of food. We would like to see other parts of the island during the day but don't plan to hire a car - maybe mopeds.

hey! im going to stay in san antonia bay too beginning of july with two other of my mates and then we're meeting up with ten other girls a couple of days later! am wel excited now! any advice for us toO?!lol! where are the best parties and clubs to go to?

Ok here goes....

well, clubwise I'd try a couple of the superclubs, welovesundays @ space is a must, starts at 8am sunday morning. people that havent gone straight from their friday night out tend to go mid afternoon and stay, well up to you, up to 6am. if you get to space before 4pm they give you a wrist band which allows you one pass out from the club. when you use this you can try another ibizan institution...

Bora bora, its a bar on the beach on playa den bossa that gets going at around 3pm, people dancing on the tables etc etc.

Also club wise I'd try a night at pacha, reputed as the worlds most beautiful club and I'd be inclined to agree. Subliminal is my favourite night there, house music from Erick Morillo.

Clubs are expensive, entrance ranges from £15-35 and drinks are on average around £6-10. so have a few drinks in some bars before hand and make use of the supermarlets for cheap booze.

Make sure you watch a sunset from cafe mambo or cafe del mar, again another chance to make use of the supermarkets, get cheap booze and sit on the rock outside the bars listening to the music. Friday is good as pete tong broadcasts live on radio 1 from cafe mambo.

If you after you average uk friday night out, bar crawl, drinks offers, lads you need to visit the went end. its here you will probably find old school music, there isnt a big club playing it this year as far as I know.

Try a night out in ibiza town, explore the old town and book a restaurant for a ncie meal. I like going to ibiza town when I am not clubbing and having a few drinks and doing a bit of shopping.

Restaurant wise there are hundreads of great places on the island, my favourite in san antonio is a mexican called tijuana. theres also another mexican called viva zapata which is really cheap but quite good.

For beaches I think san an is pretty limited, but 10 minutes in a taxi is cala bass and cala tarrida, both lovely. I'd avoid moped, far to dangerous IMO.

what you should do is use the search function on here and also read the review section.

This is all really great information - thanks! Is there a search for reviews of hotels on here? We are staying at the Central City and just wanted to get a bit of info about it.

just stick central city into the search engine

incidentally I stayed there a few years ago. Average appartments, good location for sunset strip, indian restaurant across the road with nice settings and average food. the safe deposit boxes are in the lobby which is ****.

That's a good Tex-Mex place only if you are a gringo (who has not lived in TX). It's kinda like the places that say "Balti" in London. BTW, Tex-Mex is very different from Mexican.

They have a saying in tennesse and probably in Texas

"you fool me once, shame on you. you won't fool me again."
