hi all,
me and a couple of mates are off to ibiza for 11 nights to san antonio bay (rosamar) at the start of september and really looking forward to it!
only prob is none of us have ever been before!! so we are a bit worried we wont get the most out of our hol as we wont really know where to go or what to do!
have read most of the pages on here and they are very useful but does anone else have any more unformation that you think would be uselful for us to know?
we are into clubbing but also enjoy good food and quiet nights too!
any info would be very much appreciated!

Dont worry Ibiza is awesome. San antonio bay is a good location its got nicer beaches and is abit quieter than san antonio town. i will warn you ive heard that the start of september is thunderstorm season! im staying from 20august-4 september and am hoping theres not too many storms while im there. theres loads of nice restaurantes n stuff around and plenty of places to go for a quiet drink suprisingly..... And obviously if you want a proper night out you wont have to go far. the west ends alright. it was nicer than what i though it would be when i read all the reviews before i went last year.

Daytime stuff?

Obviously the normal booze cruises and water parks, i think theres quad biking and go karting! Theres also a big stables up from san antonio where you can go horse riding but you would have to book in advance i think.

theres a thing called Blade runner in san antonio harbour which is basically a speedboat that goes miles out to sea and does laods of stunts i did it last year and it was great, so if you get the chance id advise you to do that. theres a little video of it here http://www.vimeo.com/clip:72013

anyways theres a million people here on spotlight who could tell you a million more things that me so . just keep posting if you have any questions and im sure sum1 will help u out.

:D

Oh dear - you are right! The last 2 times I have been at the start of September have been very stormy! The 2nd last time I was there, 3 boats were washed up on the shores of San An!

It's great to go down to the beach at night and watch the thunder and lightening though - amazing!

apart from what other people have mentioned.do not hire a motor bike out.i would like to see you all come back safe.and not hurt.
there are lots of bars in the bay area for a quite night out... take a morning shopping in ibizatown.. go there one night at weekends..fri/sat.playa den bossa for a day out.(waterpark) bora bora..
go to other beaches just round the bay for a day..get ferry boats cheap and easy... but i feel that you will get to know things more.when you get there.asking other people your age..( so long as they are not virgins to.they will help you out...but use this site for more info..home page..maps ect..enjoy it
