Ibiza Virgin!!

Hi All

Im sure you get these sort of questions all the time so sorry to add yet another lol!!

Its my first time in ibiza this september going for a week and wondered if anyone could give me some advice......How much money to take? Best clubs and bars? Beaches? Restaurents? Daytime activities? Drink prices? Are the people friendly? (only me and a mate going and would like to make new friends lol)

Any other info you think might be worth knowing would be much appreciated......cheers!!!

hu luv...i had my 1st time in ibiza this year!had the best time eva!
drinks....well its around 5 euro in westend for vodka redbull...or bottles of wkd...in the clubs its alot more...but i recommend tht u dont drink in the clubs...go to the westend first.
Bars....in the westend theres lots of different types of bars..rnb...dance...and theres a bar called 'funky flares' thts all ur classic songs..like 9-5 and sweet child of mine!theres also kareoke bars!
Activities....we got one of those packages with the 18-30s reps...and loved every minute of it!there were pool parties..boat trips...foam parties...nites where they did 50 cent a drink for 2 hours....
People...we were worried that there would be lots of fighting...but everyone seemed to get on..there were only me n a friend...but we made loads of friends.The only fighting was when the police got hold of people...be careful with the police...
Money.....we took about £1300 for 2 weeks....and ran out of money! When i go back im going to save up as much as i can just to be safe...il be taking close to £3000 for 2 weeks next time..so i can do everything..
beaches....we only went to the main beach...it wasnt anything speacial...and u get hassled by the pr guys...but there is some nice beaches somewhere..jus didnt go..will be next year tho!

We took £500 spending money the first year and we were all inclusive and most of that went on club tickets and drinks etc etc........but we did go out every night we were there, and got taxis home every night.

Clubs and bars it all depends on your scene really.....

Beaches are lovely!

Restaurants - never really ate out in both the times we went - we did all in and half board to save money so cant really comment......

People are really friendly :lol: thats what I loved about the place.
 
Hi it'll be my first time there this year also, I'm going on Wednesday can't wait. There is a group of us going and they have been there before, I was told to take a much as possible so taking about €1600 for the week. We're half Board but I don't plan to be waiting around for eating times.

Flappers you were saying about the police? Why are the bad over there?

I stayed in the quiet family resort of Es Cana in Camping Es Cana my home for 7 days was an ideally sized garden shed with a fridge,lights & electricity point included the cost total was 175 euros for the week.
As for socializing i tended too stick to the cheaper bars ofwhich the local beers were around 1.75/2.00 euros , & for the Vodka red-bull i purchased a 1ltr bottle of Smirnoff vodka 40% for 15 euros & a similar 6 pack of caffein energy drinks for around 5 euros.
I found myself eating for around 15 euros euros a day with the odd day in a local restaurant ofwhich the price was higher at 18euros for one meal.
However all in all my holiday in total for flight,accom,drinks,eating out, buses/ferry to Formentera etc cost less than 500 euros & for that i thoroughly enjoyed my stay on Ibiza, though the weather could've of been a bit kinder.
So is Ibiza possible on a tight budget??? Yes if one is prepared to not feel they need to overspend for having a great time i realise that most Spotlighters here are only intrested in the Club Scene on the Island so i can understand why such people need £1000 for a 1 week stay.

i ran out of money last time i went so il be taking that to be on the safe side....i know alot of people say there taking loads to bragg....im not bragging coz i avnt got tht type of money...jus gonna have to cut down on everythin to get tht saved up! i ran out of money last time...n i was carefull..where as next time i wanna be able to buy whateva i want without having to budget.....

i advise to jus take as much as u can

This is what i should have done this year, but yet again iv left it till the last minute to save up for some spends!

Last year was my first year and i spent 1000 pounds in 6 days, not including the last day cos we literaly got a taxi back to our hotel from amnesia when it closed, changed out of our clubbing clothes in to something comfortable and went straight to the airport so we didnt really spend any money on the last day.

im only gonna have the same money again tho so im a bit worried im gonna run out. stupid me! :spank: x

Yeah but it is wise to budget, when you think of the money that gets wasted during the days it could be spent on a couple of more nights clubbing. If you take 2000 for a fortnight then youv'e got more than enough!

I could go to Ibiza twice with 3 grand! :)
 
3 grand!! Wow! I am so glad i dont drink, the last 3 years i have managed to get away with £600 for each trip - although i did pre-book all my club tickets before i went (Thank you Spotlight!!).

This year im taking slightly more...
