Hey!

This question is prob asked a lot, so I apologise if i'm duplicating posts, new here and will soon be new to Ibiza too!

I am going in June for a week with 3 mates, 2 of which have been a couple of times before so they know a few places to go.

I was just after advice from people that know the area well for good places to go.

We are interested in bars, clubs, beaches, boat trips, water parks and anything else that you guys could recommend really.

Thanks

Us too

Hi N,
We are off to Ibiza on the 8th of June. three of us. We are complete Ibiza virgins so not sure what to do where to go. Only thing that seems likely is plenty of drink and sunshine.

hi there, me and my 2 mates are headin out ther this summer for the very first time. although iv never been before iv been told by lots of ppl just to let things flow and put itself in place! that suits me cos im too laid back to fuss over things!!!!!!!! have a good time and maybe see you out there! x

Here's a few recommendations for anyone who hasn't been before:

Bars definately worth visiting: KM5, Anything along the sunset strip (cafe del mar, mambo, coastline, etc), Bars in the marina area of Ibiza Town (base Bar, Rock Bar etc) and along Cal. de Virgin (Bar Zuka, etc), Blue Marlin in Cala Jondal, Jockey Club in Salinas and without doubt Bora Bora

Clubs - depends what sort of music you like, but from my experience: Space on Sunday, DC10 on Monday, Amnesia on Thursday (for Cream) or Pacha for Renaisance/Retro. Also heard a lot of good things about Hed Kandi (which I've never managed to get to in previous years, but will this year). If you've never been before Manumision is worth a look (although last time I went to this was about 8 years ago, so not sure how it is these days). Also, Underground is free and worth going to.

Beaches - if you want a lively beach then go to Bora Bora during any afternoon. Also definately worth visiting are Salinas, Benirras, Aqua Blanca. There are a load of other nice beaches that are family orientated (Cala San Vincent, Cala Tirada, etc) - check this site out as it lists loads.

Water Parks - there's a big one next to Space. Never been to it though.

Other tips: Hire a car and drive round - loads of decent places to see; look out for a book called Blue Lemon (which they give out free in various bars - it lists beaches, bars, clubs, restaurants etc). Look for restaurants in places like Ibiza Town slightly out of the main tourist areas - you can get excellent food at a fraction of the cost of ones round the marina. One example is Sa Botega in Av Ignacia Wallis - well worth a meal there! (Tip - anywhere where you see a load of Spanish locals eating is a fairly good bet)

Have fun - you can't fail to in Ibiza;)

Budgie is right. You have to make the most of the seven days that you have. The only certainty in life is that you have to do Space on a Sunday (get there between 2 and for). Other than that DC10 on a Monday and you have to go to Pacha (just pick the night that suits your musical taste the best).
My only other must do would be an evening/night over at Bora Bora. We don't go for another 7 weeks and I can't wait. Have a good one.

Party girl69 - good to see a red on the forum.:)

would you say do the 2nd week of space or the opening party for judgement sundays??x

go to space during the day when it is best...........dance in the sunshine from midday to anytime up to midnight. leave and get some food, have a disco nap........then head over to eden about 2am or so.

afternoons on sundays at space are the quintessential ibiza clubbing experience. without doubt!8)

you don't need to look too hard to find others!;)

Couldn't bring myself to post anything about Athens. Whilst the comments from Uefa are unhelpful as a lifelong red origionally from the Wirral I was disgusted and ashamed by some of the stories I read. I find it hard to believe a red would risk the reputation of this great club of ours just to get in and see the game.
