hi there. Myself and my bloke are coming to San An 16th Aug for 2 weeks. Ive had a look at the bars, clubs forums for a few ideas, however I am after more advice re bus or taxi, best beach, etc. 2 weeks is a long time and want to fit as much in as poss. We will be pubbing and clubbing most nights, although not the big clubs every night!! And beach, water sports, visiting places etc during the day. Any tips and/or general advice would be appreciated. Im a 29year old lass and he is 32!.

Cala bassa and cala tarrida are nice beaches by san antonio Probably able to get there by bus I imagine, a taxi would be cheap as well. Benirras is a nice beach to the north, pretty much only accessible by car. Bora Bora is a bar on playa d'en bossa you might wanna check out.

Dalt vila, the old citadel in ibiza town is worth visiting; dramatic views, steeped in history and very beautiful.

The water park in Playa d'en bossa is a good afternoon out.

You could try a hippy market in es cana (wednesdays) or las dias (saturdays). Both accessible by bus.

There are boats to Formenterra from San An or quicker ones from Ibiza town.

As for bus or taxi to clubs I prefer getting a taxi, just because it's 100 times less hassle, but its 10 times more expensive. A bus from San An to Ibiza will cost you circa €1.50, a taxi will cost you 25-30€. Taxis to amnesia cost around 17-20€.

Buses across the island of a night time get really busy, the free buses the clubs put on are IMO impossible to get on, the normal bus to Ibiza town is a better option but go relatively early, as the queue for these can get pretty big and any queue dissapears when the bus actually arrives and it becomes pretty much a free for all. I;d go to ibiza town early and have a few drinks in the bars there.
