I'm going to be traveling to Ibiza this summer. Its gonna be a short stay (June 21st through the 24th) but its just the starting point of a month long trip ending up in Berlin for the World Cup Final. I'm doing research and was wondering where the best place to stay is for the money. I'm traveling solo. And the number one objective is to have fun. Can you guys and gals help.

Thanks.

Here's your first stop: http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/hotel-guide/

The Ibiza Spotlight hotel guide is the place to book your accomodations as they've got some good deals on the hotels they work with.

There's 6 main areas to stay in if you're interested in the party scene: Ibiza Town, Figueretas, Playa den Bossa, Talamanca, San Antonio and the San Antonio bay area.

My preference is Playa den Bossa. It's got, among other things, the Bora Bora beach club and mega-club Space, plus it's not far from Ibiza Town where you'll find the restaurants and bars of the old city (Dalt Vila) and harbor area plus the major clubs Pacha and El Divino. There's some good hotel deals in the area.

Figueretas, located between Ibiza Town and Playa den Bossa, is also a good option. I'm not partial to San Antonio and San An Bay though plenty of holidaymakers enjoy staying in those areas. There are definitely some good deals to be found there in terms of pricing and you've got the bars of the sunset strip, major nightclubs Eden and Es Paradis and the less expensive clubs and bars in the West End neighborhood. I think San An tends to attract a more British (i.e. less international) crowd than you'll find in Ibiza Town and its nearby resort areas.

Hope that helps. Come back to us when you've read up the accomodations section and the accompanying reviews (you can also use the forum search function to see what others have said about a particular hotel).
