Hey everyone this is my first post on this site. I have heard about Ibiza for a number of years now and have wanted to go for a long time. I will be in my last year of college at Virginia Tech next year and trying to get a large group of people (about 50) to go to Ibiza with me for our spring break in MArch of 2009. I was wondering how is it during that month. Hotel wise what would be the best hotel to stay at and also what clubs and bars would still be open in March? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!!!

Hi there

The "clubbing season" doesn't really get going until June. I'm sure there will be some bars open - and I think Pacha (and maybe El Divino) are open just at weekends at that time of year. If you want the full on clubbing experience, you'll need to go between mid/late June and late September.

I'm a Radford Alum. :)

Anyway, I went for my first (and second) time(s) this summer, and I must say that if you wait and do it "beach week" style, you will be more exposed to the overall clubbing experience.

I don't know if a group that big can be booked at the same hotel, unless you maybe stayed in Platja Den Bossa or somewhere where most tourists aren't. San An might be a challenge, as rooms tend to book fast and 50 people is a lot.
