Hi all, im new to the forum and also to Ibiza (never been)!

I've been to Global Gathering and Creamfields in the UK numerous times and love the clubbing scene, along with everything that comes with it :)

I'm looking at trvelling to Ibiza this summer alone (havent confirmed dates yet) but am somewhat aprehensive about being alone for the first time on a holiday plus i have no idea what ibiza is like...

Any advice or suggestions for what i should look out for with regards to 'socialising' prior to dancing my legs off all night?

Once i get my dates booked up ill repost and see if i can link up with a few of you when over there :D

Hey matey, i'll be going out to ibiza a few times this month, also will be solo, it's ur 1st time in Ibiza, u will absolutely love! Iv been go for the past 13 years, I love, love, love it! When u think of going??? The opening's are brill! X

welcome to the forums :)

you'll find more solo travellers on here. going to ibiza alone is not a problem at all, if you're just a tiny bit sociable you'll quickly meet people. various solo travellers have in the past met up thanks to this forum so just post your dates once you've secured them. there are always folk in the same situation as you looking for some company!

Yeah I'm also going alone, June 16-25th. My first time as well! I've travelled solo before, from East Asia to Central America but my first time in Europe alone. I'm staying in San Antonio and I keep refreshing this forum for all available news on the lineups! Let us know your dates

Popped my ibiza cherry going solo in 2013. Had a superb week. Stay in PDB would be my only advice

I heard it's better in PDB but the prices are more expensive there which is why I'm staying in San Antonio. I don't mind it, I'm a big Cafe Del Mar fan anyway and it's gonna be so nice to be so close to it. As a solo traveller though, I'm also wondering how I'm gonna guard my stuff on the beaches when I go swimming out in the sea and also if any of the clubs have lockers or anything like that to put your knapsack in.

I've done the solo thing on a few occasions and absolutely love it. You can do exactly what you want to do and have nobody to hold you back :D.
I've met up with people off here before too, all great people ;)
Going to the pre-parties of events you're likely to attend is also another good way of meeting people.

Many thanks for the responses, will get my dates confirmed and post them up.

Definately going to be hitting up the Bora Bora Beach Parties from what i've seen online....looks like my cuppa tea!

I wouldn't rule out San An either. Particularly the bay. I'm staying in both this year but have stayed in San An more often. Enjoy either way.

I saw the DanceTrippin vids of Bora Bora and it looked pretty fun. Musically, it was good too! Really fun house music...they got some good residents.

Hey all im new to this and thought id jump on here for some assistance or tips as this will be my first time in Ibiza
Finishing my Euro trip in Spain and am there from the 30th July to 11th August so ive got a fair bit of time to really take it too far ;) lol
Im there for partying and more partying! I wanna see what the fuss is all about this place :p
Tho I'm just a lil confused as to where to start.. either San Antonio or Playa Den Bossa area For the best club nights/opening parties/boat parties etc)
So really just after some advise on where I should stay what hotels would be the better ones to stay at to meet other people
Also if anyone is keen on meeting up there and party it up with me would be awesome too :)

Stowing your stuff when you're on your own is a constant game of wits ... bury your shirt in a hand-towel. Better still, if you want to take stuff to the sea, hire a car and go swimming where you can find a spot by yourself....

Damn man, that calls for some preparation. Maybe I'll pay a random couple 5 Euros and I keep my stuff with theirs or something or take the bare min. and risk it. Just scared about theft, I've heard alotta stories...
