Hello me and my friend are ibiza virgins going sep 19 to 26th staying in mar y vent is this good accomedation and what would u reconnect events wise were gd to get cheap drinks is it worth pre booking tickets how much spending money would u take any help appreciated also if anyone's there around then company welcome
 
Depends on what music Vibe your into. I would say take €600-€1000 euros depending on how many clubs you decide to go and also if you like to eat out etc.

Carl Cox closing party at Space would be my recommendation if you like techno.

Cream closing party should be around then too maybe???

Cheap drinks don't really exhist in Ibiza unless you venture to the west end in San Antonio or do it of your drinking before you go out.

We been that exact same week last 2 years. 2013 was glorious sunshine and hot every day. 2014 was cloudy and rained pretty ouch the should time.

The West End has lots of bars, nowhere is particularly cheap but you will get deals there! Pre-drinking is the answer!

What kind of music do you like?

Like Fergi said, spending money depends on the individual! Are you planning a lot of club nights? Going to restaurants? I aim for 1000 euros minimum but it can definitely be done cheaper!
 
I think 1000 euros a week is a good number to work off of and be happy when you return with money. Buy some tix ahead like Carl Cox closing. Try and do a free beach party like Tini's party or Guy Gerber's party (or whatever is going on this year) I will be there the same time and have an idea of what I am going to but all depends on what kind of music you like. Try searching on soundcloud for some of the names.
 
Stayed at the Mar Y Vent a few times in my youth. Perfect location just round the corner from Mambo and the sunset strip. 5 minute walk from the west end if that is your thing.

Cheap and cheerful, so don't expect the Ritz but a decent base.
