Ibiza veterans returning - not sure where to start!

Hi,

Sorry for the noobie post, but hoping you can help to point us in the right direction :)

I'm coming back to Ibiza in July - from Australia - and really need some pointers...

Last time I was in Ibiza was 2000.. (I worked there 1998-2000 - and I'm finally bringing my aussie husband across to see how excellent it is!)
So I'm an old-timer, but am guessing it has changed a lot?!

We are planning on staying on Playa-D-Bossa - any recommendations for nice/quiet apartments?
We are big trance fans, so will probably do Cream. Any other recommendations of what is the best clubbing nowadays?
What bars are the best to hear some great music and really get an Ibiza fix?

We are desperate to make the absolute most of our trip - we are coming a long long way!!

Can't wait to get back there!!!

Can't recommend The Tivoli Apartments enough. Quiet & relaxing, but great location. Rooms very spacious - bargain for the price.
 
Oh noooooo!! I am really worried that I won't even recognise half of it :( 98-99 were so amazing, but a long time ago :)
Which end of Playa -d-Bossa should we avoid?

Are there any new bars/areas to check out?
I saw the boardwalk along the sunset strip - that is all new. I'm guessing that is still the place to head to for pre-parties?

If trance is your thing then Mondays @ Privilege is a must for Armins night.
