This thread takes me back a few years to when the old Spanish analogue TV system during the 80's would often be troubled by the Summer Sporadic 'E's season or during periods of long hot settled weather when Tropospheric ducting would occur. Basically the local VHF tv channel would disappear and get replaced by another Continental type ofwhich whilst on holiday in Es Cana back in the Summer of '86 enjoying a drink in bar 3 equinox? the National TV channel RTVE on one occaison got replaced by none other than the BBC's very own 'Eastenders' much to the annoyance of the owner and the locals.


NB: Such TV interference is not new nor just assigned to Ibiza as if any Spotlighters are old enough to remember such interference often caused problems for UK viewers in the old VHF 405 line days.
