This is a replacement to the usual Island of Trance week, instead running over the weekend, from Thursday 3rd til Tuesday 8th

I'm curious to this as well. Being a trance promoter myself, what do you expect? What is your style of trance?
An out and out classics night just won't bring in the numbers, which are more important than ever in Ibiza.
So you have to bring on the more commercial sounds of the likes of Ferry Corsten on line ups with Aly & Fila, etc.
And what of Cream? I mean, the one I went to in June had Patterson b2b Askew, Solarstone and Paul van Dyk. The one in September I went to had Above & Beyond and Super8 & Tab, both of which play the slower style of trance, yes, but it's still trance.

Sunk, Captured and Driftwood (all run by Sam Mitcham) have been outstanding parties over there in 2014, and they push the 140 side of things.

Trance sound Unfortunately changed. Last year attend sunk + cream + asot + full on just miss driftwood on monday. My reviews:

Sunk@ privilege-was newest party on island. They used vista room which suit it. Pure trance I like it. More +140 sound.

Asot@ ushuaia- two warm up dj played commercial edm. Good atmosphere there but i think armin is not suit with ushuaia day time event.

Cream@ amnesia- banging trance set from paul van dyk. Best according to me.

Full on @ space - No Ferry Corsten that day. Poor line up with auiden . Dont like it.

The Trance sound has changed, it's evolved as time has gone on. Not always for the better, but I understand why it had to change.
ASOT and Full On were both parties I never ended up going to last season. Money got too tight towards the end of the Sept trip
 
Ferry are mainly doing trouse at the moment.

ASOT are great on some nights and bad on some if you like real trance. Just like that brand are in their regular events and radio.

Trance is doing pretty good in Ibiza i would say. Good mix of events and something for everybody.

Think im signing up on this one. An extra day would be ideal though.

See you over there, think we'll go out Saturday 5th - 12th or similar. Can't stand the package holiday. Do occasionally like my beauty sleep :lol:
Do agree, I think their is something for everybody with Trance. If you're really, really struggling, head down to Tropi in the West End of San Antonio which always has classics playing.

it's not what it says, but yes, goodgreef will be on the island too this summer ;)

I saw lots of good review about tropi which doing well about trance and mohito :) but cant make it last summer.

Tropi has stuck well to it's sound of Trance, and, now combined with Ibiza Trance Family, is reaping the rewards of being the only Trance bar in the west end. :)

Just checked the GG page, they will be out with ITE again this summer, along with all the other major promoters I assume. (Not us though, prefer not staying in the hotels they've picked)
