Ibiza Town Restaurants

Sorry Guys. I know I'm being lazy here.

Recommendations for restaurants in Ibiza Town tonight? Not fussed on cuisine. But obviously Tapas is worth a shout.

Your recommendations for Cala Nova were well received.

(Loved my time back on this island, especially the other side of the island - it won't be another 7 years before I return)

el olivo up in dalt vila. or can d'en parra also up there, but further up towards the baluard st. lucia.

sausalito in the port if you want good meat.

trattoria del mar over in marina botafoch if you're up for italian cuisine.

and comidas san juan if you want cheap & cheerful - but it's one of the island's coolest restaurants still. just go early else you'll wait forever for a table.

Can anyone recommend where is good to go for dinner for our anniversary in Ibiza town please? Somewhere romantic with good food & atmosphere. Any suggestions please?

A romantic anniversary dinner.... Is cost a consideration? There are exclusive places to go where people like to show off their money, or places which offer a good service affordably. Which one are you looking for?

can d'en parra is lovely (google images will make you get the picture). a bit more modern and different type of food, but fantastic views is kyuppido. both of them are up in dalt vila (the latter far up).

as a place, la brasa is beautiful and also romantic with the patio. but I've been disappointed in both food and service the last few times I went and haven't gone back since.

More about the food & atmosphere. We are both foodies (the wife's a chef) we did think about doing a showy place like Blue Marlin but as our anniversary is 30th Sep we thought we'd opt for the old town & save our partying for Space closing or that's the plan anyway:)

Thanks Stivi, both look good. Also I noticed you recommended Sa Cova to someone in a thread from last year is the still good as looks lovely? Also would you recommend booking in advance? We tend to like having a wander & the see what we like the look of & that way you might find a gem, but it would be good to have a few recommendations to look out for.

was that me re sa cova? really?

re booking - depends on dates really. end of september will be quiet enough normally

Ahh no actually it was someone else on the same thread... The old memory is not so great these days plus a wee bit hungover today . Is Sa Cova any good?

You actually recommended el olivo or restaurante plaza del sol. All look good online.

On the Comidas San Juan.. We went in June. It was closed during the week at lunch. Is it only open certain times?

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum but I'm staying in Ibiza town from Saturday. Can someone reccomend some nice restaurants. I have been to sa Capellas and loves it so something similar if anyone knows anything that will be open? Cheers

god everyone opens up a new thread for the same questions. gareth nothing against you, but can people please just go through the forums a bit? search functions anyone? :)
