... ok I know there's already several threads about this, but was hoping to get fresher opinions! 8)

looking for somewhere nice & atmospheric to go for dinner on our first night, preferably up in Dalt Vila ... so far the main contenders are Sa Torreta, La Oliva, La Brasa (not in Dalt Vila I know) ...

Sa Torreta looks like the fave, as I remember reading it has good vegetarian options (girlfriend is a veggie) ...? But also read it's pretty expensive ... how expensive we talking here?

any other info/recommendations? :p

hi!

I've been to all 3. Sa Toretta and Oilva IMO are MUCH better than La Brasa, which I thought was very average foodwise (although the setting is lovely).
Both are pretty similar food and price wise, although I think the food at Sa Toretta just shaved it for me. The price is about 100 euros for 2, for 3 courses plus wine, which is about the same as you's pay for a meal in the UK.

thanks for that Scoobie, Sa Torreta still looking like the favourite then ... :)

Went to La (Sa?) Torreta in the end ... absolutely superb!! Massively recommended, and amazing value too for such quality food! I'm sure they undercharged us, came to 98 Euros for 2 starters, 4 mains, bottle of rose, 2 beers, water, and loadsa bread. Gorgeous food and great service too.

Nice. 8)

As I've said before on this forum, Sa Torreta is such a wonderful place. Always go there for my first and last meal of the holiday.
