Ibiza themed Tattoo

For some time now, I have been thinking of getting an Ibiza themed Tattoo, but have been unsure of what actually personifies Ibiza...

Ive never been big on the clubbing scene of Ibiza, so getting the Cherries of Pacha isnt something id do...

I know some people go for the Lizard thing ... like this..

But thats not for me, - then I thought of, maybe an outline of the Island with Ibiza written underneath? -I dont know.


Can you guys offer any inspiration?.

I've had a gecko done over here by Carlos from Kali tattoo in Es Canar, it's more of a tribal one with a few colours in it (to match my other tattoo on that arm!) than the one on your pic...
 
I have the outline of Ibiza with symbols representing some of my favourite places on the island. My best friend has the same with slightly different symbols :!:
 
I have the Space logo on my left leg. Admitedly it was a spur of the moment thing after I'd been on my first visit there in 2006. I wanted something to really represent what that holiday was all about and that being my favourite night on that holiday it seemed appropriate. In hindsight it wasn't the best of choices but it's low on my leg next to my Sheffield Wednesday tattoo. No biggy really, you live you learn etc.

Moving on to the actual point though. I'd get a few ideas together, outlines, photos, club flyers, anything like that then take it to a decent tattooist and ask them to come up with something. Most of them won't charge any extra for this and those guys tend to have really creative minds anyway. See how that works out.
