Ibiza Soccer league (Football)?

Curious if Ibiza has a pro team or stadium?

Also very curious if there are soccer fields (football pitches, lol) in Ibiza and a rec league one can join come June?

I love the sport and as I'll be in Ibiza come the spring I would love to play ion a league for fun while the WC is on!


Also curious why when employers want your info do they always ask for CV/PHoto? Can only beautiful people work here?lol

There is a semi-professional Spanish league that some teams in Ibiza play in. I go and see my local team in Santa Eulalia - Pena Deportiva (currently fourth in the league) - whenever I can. The football isn't great - lot's of high balls and missed passes but it's a good afternoon out and the carajillos help you beat the cold. The players here are local heroes and are well known by the locals in much the same way as the top college baketball players are in the US and (no doubt) Canada. Sadly I tend to be one of the few non-Spanish spectators - the ex-pat locals can't see past the professional european leagues. Of course soccer is a Winter sport so not much happening past Easter.
 
Don`t know if there is a professional team in Ibiza, but I once saw a game being played at the fiestaland complex all weather pitch in Den Bossa and the skills were mesmerising.
I think we sat and watched the whole game in awe, or maybe we were pissed and easily impressed and just wanted them to finish so that we could play - Mind you, one of them did look like Deco and pals
 
Last Year Qpr+leicester City Played In A Competition On The Island,not Sure What Month It Was But It Ended Up With Both Teams Hating Each Other Well Into The English Season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Recreational Ibiza Soccer (Football)

Is there a place you can meet up in June and play for fun actially 11 on 11? Is there a fun league the local soccer players join that aren;t pro.

I am a decent 24 year old defensive midfielder who can run all day looking to play on a team whether semi pro or for fun.

Let me know, I can;t be in Ibiza 6 weeks without soccer!
