Will be staying in San Antonio for the month of June and wondered what its like there during this time? Are the beaches within walking distance nice? I will be looking to grab some cheap food each and every day for breakfast, lunch, dinner and of couse snacks, anything in the area worth going to thats a good meal for a cheap price. Any super markets (grocery stores) in San Antonio or late night places to eat? Not really into the whole fast food type thing but I nice dish of pasta, a sandwich, ect would be great at a low price, please help!

Thank you!

With San An being a major holiday resort there are literally thousands of cheap food outlets competing for your custom. A lot of people just in need of a quick and cheap meal tend to eat near the fountains in the centre of San An.

You won't have any problems finding cheap food from indian, chinese, tapas, snacks, pizzas etc.

As you would expect in any town you can also find classier places to eat as well as just the quick fix restaurants. Villa Mercedes and selected Sunset Strip cafes are good examples.

As for beaches , I would describe the San An ones as functional and convenient rather than being particularly nice.

However, a quick bus ride will get you to Conta, Bassa, Tarida, Gracio etc all of which are very nice.
