Ibiza related!!! Villa for a lot of people

 I'm sure Jon will have some get-rich money making scheme for when he gets back, even if it involves selling you to fund his Ibiza trips/festivals for summer 2007  ;)

Definitely ;)

Yep i will be making every effort to attend september next year, even if it is only 4 days

I'm seriously running low on items to sell, in the last 2 years I have sold my car and decks to make it out there:spank: :D

We have rent one month ago a wonderful finca in St. Eularia, but we were only 8 people.

If you really want to live with 18 people or more together, check all the details very careful, especially the point "house cleaning" ......

We have a little bit trouble with our boys in that point ;)

Haha...yeah can imagine how 18 people could turn messy v quickly....did you find it an issue being relatively far from club land?

We loved being able to stroll down to Borra Borra from our hotel and the usual convenience things but guess that you would have to sacrifice a little of that living quite far out...there dont seem to be too many villas on the edge of PdB or Ibiza Town at a first look

The finca was really wonderful but the distance to Ibiza Town or BoraBora was for me a little bit too long ...... the next time I want to stay a little bit more central ..... the cleaning woman was only one time in the house but the pool boy came very often

I have only ever done hotel/apartment twice in Ibiza - other than that its a villa all the way!!! The Villa option is brilliant - although initially its a huge outlay of cash - the money you save in the long run is amazing - you go to one of the huge supermarkets and stock up on everything you need, food, alcohol etc and I reckon we only ate out 2 times in a fortnight because I really enjoyed cooking and Phil doing his manly BBQ bit outside and eating at leisure around the pool area and drinks on your terrace before hitting the bars later, its always good fun for "afterhours" shennanigans - no one to hassle in nearby proximity, a pool to play around in, music to play - 8) .

Also, on those days of desperate relaxing - no screaming kids, other peoples crap tunes and just general noise - its absolute bliss!!!

The only thing is you will need your own transport and usually a "designated driver" for those debaucherous nights out -

I organised a holiday for 26 people 3 years ago. I booked a behemoth villa called Casa Hajji which has 13 double/twin rooms and 10 bathrooms. Its a fantastic place about 3 miles from the centre of San An. Its high up on a hill with stunning views out to see - perfect for sunsets too.

If my memory serves it cost us about £8K for a week at the end of August. The price sounds a bit steep but when you divide that amount by 26 its only £307 each.

You should be able to find it on the web.

i rented a 15 person villa this last September for me, my girlfriend and our friends from all over the world. it was very affordable (around $500 USD per person for the entire week) and i would NEVER consider going back to Ibiza and using hotel.

we rented out a 500w sound system (from Adam Deuce - great lad 8) ), rented CD decks and rocked out tunes by the pool for the entire week. the only negative side to the villa was that is was sort of far from all the action. it was in the hills about 8 minutes north of San Rafel, which is sort of far from Ibiza Town and PDB. it would have been nice to be a little closer. that said, our villa was very secluded and private, with a wonderful view that stretched across the island to Ibiza Town and ocean. no neighbors to give us any sort of hassle about early morning tunes!

we also saved quite a bit of money by doing massive trips to the supermarket. we managed to avoid spending a lot in over-priced restaurants and when we did go out to eat, it was only at carefully chosen restaurants that we wanted to enjoy. it was perfect.

this is the villa we rented: http://villasinibiza.com/Default.aspx?go=Villa&PrID=172

it was quite an old house, but we all really enjoyed it. at over 300 years old, the rustic setting was a nice retreat from the craziness of the clubs and crowds 8)

That looks really nice! the problem is firming up on exact numbers so early in the year but might be worth sending ou a big email and seeing who is yay or nay seeing as so many people said they were def on it this year....its in pretty good shape for 300 yrs old though!

That place Jez stayed in looks perfect. If there's enough of you to share cabs location is no problem and there is usually a few of you who want to do the same thing.

We'd love to do this too but sorting out our friends is like herding cats (beware you might really need that holiday by the time you're done). We've managed it with big houses in the UK and it's always a blast. But going abroad we've just done the seperate apartments.

if memory serves right, according to the ever reliable mcrackin this place (used?) to belong to a german porn magnate.

it's right by the caves at calla bassa innit?
