Hi All,

I hit Ibiza opening week this year, was cool and met some cool people on this forum!

I will be definitely doing the same early May-ish time or whenever the Island opens!

I'm from London would be lovely to meet those who are doing May/opening party if anyone is around!

Speak to you all soon!
Cheers

Hey party people. I stayed at Ushuaia last year and this year none of my pals can afford to go. I’m looking for a crew to go either opening or main season. There is no way I can miss a season I’ve been to Ibiza the last 14 years. Now 33 but going on 20 ha ha. Why don’t we all arrange a club night in london if we get on book Ibiza xxxx

Been thinking about attending Defected opening party at Eden, stay in Ibiza for a few days afterwards, then head to London for We Are Fstvl.

I did this the first year they threw We Are FSTVL. A week on the razz doing all sorts: 2 messy nights on the West End, Wisdom of the Glove opening, both days at IMS. Dragged myself away from Sankeys Opening part II when Solomun was in full flow about 4am still off my bonce. Flight at 6am back home via Barcelona, getting into Gatwick about 2pm, picked-up by a mate and taken to Upminster... well, that was the plan.
Predictably Vueling were behind schedule, so missed my connecting flight in Barca and had to fork out almost €200 for a new flight. An hour delayed and wallet considerably lighter, i landed in Gatwick. Wrong terminal though, and in my pickled state spent half hour on phone to mate communicating this.
Finally he dropped me at We Are FSTVL. They had advertised last admission was 4pm, it was now gone half 4. Queued-up for ageeeeeeeeees. Of course, they were still letting people in. Anyway, got to the front scanned the bar code on my phone "sorry, this ticket has already been used." I'd bought a load for friends, and they were already inside. Was there signal? Was there f***. Couldn't access my email to find the unused ticket. Jumped on the shuttle bus back to Upminster to find a café or coffee shop to nick their wifi. Found a costa - battery died. I'd left charger along with other luggage in my mates car.
Tail between my legs I jumped on the tube and took the arduous journey back to Kent, westward along the Central Line to Victoria stopping at every single station and finally an hour commute back to Maidstone.
Got back to my flat - which i shared with the friend who had picked me up - and slumped onto the sofa a broken man. He took one look at me and burst out laughing. Can't remember what time it was I got home, but it was dark by this point.
It may have been a blessing in disguise as I was written-off for a week. In fairness, it was probably one of the heaviest weeks of my life - a lot of ket, and MDMA every day. Little sleep as well.

i had bad memories of Defected in ibiza wheter Eden (opening 17) or Booom (been 3 times, even Kenny dope was boring there, asking people, when did he play, & some answered he already played and i was telling to myself, that boring tech house was him, :D it was nice at Mambo ) , or pacha Defected closing 12 (bob sinclar junior jack), i guess it was good at Ushuaia & decent at Pacha...with Saga Bedouin at Heart, woomoon (cova Santa?) & solomun that night, it's hard to compete ...
