ibiza newbie requesting info on lodging

i'm traveling to ibiza next july or august with a group of 8-10. i've been checking out where to stay and the villas seem like a good deal. has anybody stayed at these places? probably going to be staying close to ibiza town and we're definately going for the club scene/night life. what are the benefits / negatives of staying at a villa compared to a hotel closer to town? can you get a villa pretty close to town? hope some of you veterans can help me out

Ive stayed in villas for the last few years. Find them much better as you usually have a really nice place to stay and relax post clubbing and you dont get the hustle and bustle of most hotels.
It depends on how much you want to pay, you can get villas at all prices. If there are 10 of you and you pay EUR 250-300 each you should get a really nice place.
You will need a car with most villas but if you get one in the right place you will have no problems with taxis. If you can get a good one close to Ibiza Town its ideal.

I don't know taxi drivers that pick you up if you are in a mountain villa! They only bring you there, but getting of that mountain with a cab, no way.
You can't explain them were to go, unless you are driving with them.
