Hi all, new to this great forum :) At the end of the week I'm getting onto a plane and setting off to San Miguel. I've never been to Ibiza before and rarely go in a club in the UK. However, my partner and I would love to experience the clubbing. I know from reading the sites the experience can be pretty expensive with drinks and admission but we both like the music.

Can anyone recommend a club that will do us n00bs. We are only planning on visiting one during our weeks stay, unless it's really fun ;) but when I looked on the acts at the different clubs, I hadn't heard of many of them?

Well, Nic, many people would recommend you make We Love @ Space on Sunday your one clubbing experience. It's a day & night affair so you could go in the afternoon and enjoy the straight-up house music on the terrace, then use your "pass-out" (a bracelet that allows you to leave once and return) for a break in the evening, then return for the night program where the music is usually a bit deeper. This Sunday has 2 Many DJs as healiners (will likely appear late night) and those guys are a lot of fun. Bob Sinclar is also appearing.

Alternatively, you could pick a night at the world fanous Pacha nightclub. Monday or Thursday are their best nights, in my opinion. Monday has Roger Sanchez while Thursday next week is a special F*** Me I'm Famous night with David Guetta and Bob Sinclar. The music should be accessible enough that you'll have a good time.

thank you Morbyd :) I think it'll probably be Thursday at Pacha nightclub- there is quite a bit to do as I'd like to go on the Spirit of Ibiza, Mardi gras and so many other cool things, it'll all get quite expensive but i'm really excited :)

If you book a table at the Pacha restaurant and eat there you get free entry into Pacha afterwards - expect to pay about 60 euros a head but as tickets for Pacha will be 40 euros upwards you're essentially getting a really nice meal and entry into the club for not much mroe than club entry price ;)
 
I'd recommend We love Sundays at Space. It's a daytime club with a terrace and a main dancefloor inside. It's got such a great vibe. If you're only doing one club then this for me is what Ibiza is about.
 
i would recommend pacha, as im into my clubbing but my friends werent, it was the 1st club we went to and the girls said the best! The atmosphere is fantastic, but the drinks prices are not so get merry before you go. even a tiny bottle of water is 7 euros and a voddy and coke was 12 in space on a sunday.
i would also recommend if u fancy space on a sunday and are new to clubbing go after 12pm, tickets are 25 euros compared to the usual 40, and you still have 6/7 hours of clubbing to go, and if u dont enjoy it at least u havent wasted a whole 40 euros.

make sure u have a few clubs in mind before you go and dont be sidelined or persuaded into changing your mind and going to others as a few people we came across are simply trying to part you with your money...

This is just my humble opinion as i was an ibiza virgin before 5th july 06 so im sure others have got more advice for you.
