Hello peeps,

Im found this website yesterday and Im loving it !

Just a quick question...

Im off to San An Bay next month, along with 2 of my kids and my bf.
We fly out on a Wednesday and return to the UK the following Wednesday.

I really wanted to visit the Hippy Market again (been there a few times before), but have just realised it takes place on a Wednesday!

Anyone know of any other good markets on the Island, and roughly how much it'll cost to get there by taxi from San An Bay ?

Thanx guys x

i think that there are organised trips to the other markets - ask your accommodation reception.

las dalias near san carlos on saturday all day.

san miguel folk dance / market thursdays (special buses from san an in the season)

sant jordi flea market at the hippodrome saturday mornings - about 20 euros in a taxi from san an bay

i almost forgot, there's a smallish market in santa eulalia, everyday if i'm not mistaken. there are a few buses a day direct from san an.

in san an you also have the artisan fair behind the church every night. they had some really nice/unusual stuff last summer and live jazz on a thursday evening.

All as Stephen said and there is a small market in the Ramblas Santa Eulalia every day.
The main market in Es Cana at Punta Arabi on a Wednesday is there for the last year as there will be new owners of Punta Arabi in 2007 and they don't want the hassle every week for their guests. It could well stay in Es Cana but at a new site yet to be confirmed - allegedly  .
The best is still Las Dalias on a Saturday.
