ibiza mar - anyone stayed here?

i was there for 2 weeks a few weeks ago. nice hotel, great location, decent rooms. however you dont get cleaned that often, can be noisy, dont leave ur towels by the pool unattended as they will walk and u will loose ur beds! these were the only bad points we had!!!!! i would stay there again as it was cheap! ohhh n the bathrooms r fab! pool bar expensive so pop to the shop at the bottom of the stairs! also some very nice places to eat close by!!!!

i stayed there in august last year and it was the pits....maybes because it was peak season. the rooms only got cleaned once in two weeks despite loads of complaints, the pool area and hotel reminds me of a multi storey car park, reception staff werent helpful at all and the place was full of charvas.....as you can guess I didnt like it. Ibiza was fab (as usual) but the ibiza mar was not and wouldnt stay there again. On the plus side, its in a decent location, next to the beach and within walking distance to the town. There are some nice places around it like Duna beach restaurant.
the other bad thing about the hotel is the room layout, they are supposed to be one bedroon apartments but the first bedroom is the 'hall' as you walkinto the apartment, the second room can only be accessed if you walk through the first room etc, and there are no doors in between

if you just looking for somewhere to sleep and change you'll be fine!
bathrooms are really quite modern
might be a bit cramped but not terribly small
some nice little restaurants and shops just under the hotel,
just up the road theres the phone box shop - use this if your calling home as they are sooo cheap
and then round the corner to the pink panther, best and friendliest bar in the bay thats for sure, and a great place to start a night out!!
