Ibiza Know It All

Hey Guys...

Has anyone heard of a company in Ibiza called 'Ibiza KIA' or Ibiza Know It All???

I have been in contact with a company... who have said they have offices in Ibiza Town and Santa Gert... and also 'own many of the bars and restaurants on the island'

The company were offering me a villa for about 2.2K for a long weekend in April... and 'X6 free club tickets worth over 60 euros each'... they also stated that the villa was within walking distance to Bora Bora beach club... and I know its closed this time of year.

So I am just a bit suspicious of them...


Would love it if anyone knew about them... and as I know a few of you are permanent on the island.... you would surely have heard of such a 'company'.

I have basically told them to stick it... I work in real estate and know that those prices are ridiculous... the villa is not even that nice... and I also knew the information they were giving me was misleading. Im just wondering if I was being overly suspicious... and maybe they are a nice Ibizan company with good intentions.
 
busy chatting rubbish.... They have only been on fb for about a month... and they say to me that 'we own most of the bars and restaurants in ibiza'

I have not received a response when I confronted them about being scam artists.

no idea about "kia", never heard of them -
but it´s un****ingbelievable what myriads of clowns/"agencies"/etc pop up
on fakebook offering "VIP(concierge)services/villas/fincas/appartments/whatever" ...
i bet lots of people will loose a lot of money doing (or trying to do) business
with some of these people :spank:
 
I was so angry... they still haven't got back to my email telling them that they are scam artists.

Does anyone know of a way to report them??

Think we will book through a much more reliable website... 8)

Everyones entitled to their opinion.

Bora Bora Beach is my technique on selling, i simply forgot it was April you asked and i call it Bora Bora Beach and have lived here for 28 years now, i have only ever heard people call it Bora Bora Beach too, so once again im sorry i offended you. We own half the villas and apartments we have, however, can bossa belongs to an ibicencan who i had to personally ring up and ask for as this is all that was available in april that could fit your group size. So no dreaming up this price on our behalf.

This price also included a meal for 6 at Bambhudda Grove Opening. If you have ever been to Bambhudda Grove you will know one drink costs around 10 euros for a beer and meals that will cost 30 euro for one main course.
Also included in this price was free drink vouchers for Mint Lounge at sunset, also another high priced venue, for 6 or more people.
As well included a private taxi seating 10 both ways, as you seem to be an expert on Ibiza you will know there is no taxi's that seat more than 4.

ALSO included was Champagne bottles on your arrival along with vests and tshirts of club nights and top Dj's that we also sell.

So im sorry OUR PACKAGE DEAL was not to your groups standard.

The best things in Ibiza are free. I'd prefer just drinks at Bambuddha tho' (better meals to be had at that price) ... and I thought you got free Cava at Mint anyway (well, it's compulsory with the bill anyhow - even at lunchtime when you tell them you are driving and don't want to drink, and they bring it and put in front of you anyway :spank:).

They're bound to be racking up a fat profit on the package though - I always prefer to just buy the bits I want (no comments on that one, please Sophie_VIP :p ;))

The thing is... they are rip off merchants.

They wanted over 2K.... for an absolute dump for 4 nights.

IbizaSpotlight have come up with some CRACKING properties... the most expensive is probably about 1300... or something... and those villas were INCREDIBLE.

Cowboys.

I work in real estate, and its t*ssers like that who give us a bad name.

Oh... I forgot to mention... Following this... I got a threatening email... stating 'dont worry... we will make sure you are WELL looked after'.

Morons.
 
They can only offer you properties available to them.

As they said they had to request from the owner to see if it was available, it was probably requesting silly money.

i must add... that the above comment was after several heated emails... and not a courteous 'we will look after you'

although I understand the power of reading text wrongly.

I have also asked them for a number to be contacted on.... so we can discuss this... as I wouldn't want to get wires crossed. All attempts at this have failed.

You've already said you won't be booking with them so why don't you just leave it?
Seems a lot of fuss / hassle over something that can easily be ended.

Its quite simple really. I wanted to find out if they are a scam or not... or rip off merchants. I wouldn't want to bad mouth a company without being sure. That would be unfair. But it matters to me that people don't fall for utter codswallop... and get a bad view.

Im not contacting them anymore, as my thoughts have been solidified with their lack of response. I even suggested that if they offer some other decent services the group would look at what they offer.

When you work in an industry, be it a plumber, electrician, real estate... or any other that could suffer from a bad name... doesn't it annoy you if you come across those sharks??? What do you work in? Maybe you can relate?

Also... simply to warn people! :spank:
