Hi folks im a ibiza virgin but am planning on going for 2 weeks at the end of june. I am planning on staying in San Antonio Bay is this a good choice for a first timer? also I have been told by a friend that it could be full of 'beer boys' over there at that time because of Euro 2004 :?: can anyone confirm this? I dont want my holiday ruind by some lads who drink till they drop!!

Also what is the average price of beer, entry to clubs, food etc?

Any help much appreciated,

Dav :D

I'm going about that time too.
I was there a few years ago during one of the euro's & i didn't find it any different from normal. there's always alot of footy on the TV's in the pubs & clubs at anytime. Actulyy when there is a UK match the street are a bit clearer.

A lot of plp do drink until they drop in san An.
Every time I've arrived there during the night there is always one person passed out on the pavement, but thats San An. :)

You will have good time no matter what im staying in san an bay for first time in the last week of june.

Sum1 will give you more info on prices ect.

Hey there!!!

San An Bay......It depends what you like really! If you are planning on going to the big club nights in Ibiza then San An won't really effect you at all because they are out of the area....

as for the beer boys, Ibiza is very busy at peak season and the end of June is a busy time, so there will be alot of beerboys on the island. The thing is they tend to stick to the west end. The west end is just a couple of streets in San An (to the west) full of bars and small clubs........

If you want to avoid any roudy teens then don't go out in the west end! I think everyone should try it at least once though to see for themselfs what it is like!

you will obviously get these people trying out the clubs like amnesia etc but they are a minority!

you wont have any troubles! :P

peace!

The price to get into the clubs varies alot!

for small clubs and bars, they are usually free entry

beer in the shops and bars is usually the same price as at home (if not cheaper) unless you go to a posh bar!

the prices of the big clubs are usually between 40 and 50 euros i think!

the two big clubs in San Antonio - Eden and Es Paradis are usually cheaper

Here's the shocker.................

small bottle of water in the big clubs is usually around 8 Euros

I dont know about the alcohol prices! I didnt buy any in the clubs! more than 8 euros though!

hope this helps! other members will have alot more details for you!

San An Bay will be fine, it's not full of the cheesy bars you see in the West End! Im staying there myself this year and I have stayed in the town before and didn't find any bother. Some areas are quite pretty actually! Enjoy! :D

I went to ibiza last year for the first time and whoever says the west end us full of drunken rowdy kids is talking rubbish! Sure everyone was pretty drunk, but the aptmosphere was great and there was no fighting or aggro or any of what you see on the tv programmes! so dont let anyone put you off going to the west end.

yes me and rich_V will b there on june for last week and first few days of july we wlll be there when england are playing :P and watching the games harhar cxmon ENGALND

I have stayed in san antonio bay b4 and its great - esp khumaras ! I will be going in june this year aswell for the opening parties -its a gr8 time 2 go , dont worry aboout the footie beer boys, they'll be 2 busy kicking the shit out of each other in some british themed pub in the west end :}
