Ibiza Jazz Festival 2011

Now you're tempting me too much. I will say it again to myself - no Ibiza in August, no Ibiza in August, no Ibiza in ....
 
The David Murray / Carl Winthers Trio on Saturday looks ace. Do you know what time they are playing / what time it goes on 'till ? Looking at flights now.. arrival is quite late - heck, it's hard to do stuff 'on the fly' in August !! :lol:
 
Thanks a lot.. wouldn't make it over in time unfortunately using the flexi-ticket I have :roll: ... will have to have a play with other airports and see whether I can work something else out :) Ooh .. August !!
 
apparently injuve is not involved with ibiza's jazz fest anymore and new people are organizing it this year. hopefully a change for good.....
 
I love Jazz!!!

I would love to attend this as it would attract locals I am sure and hopefully a cultured crowd.

sounds cool.
 
the organiser tells me that it will be better than ever this year and is hoping to have a late informal bar after the concerts where members of the bands and local jazz musos can jam together.

then why don't you bob along to villa mercedes seeing as you're in san an - muriel grossmann is on tomorrow, 12/7 - and though it's not the free stuff she prefers, you can still here some sax classics. i've said it before but maybe you don't know that she plays the same horn as charlie parker did before he changed to the plastic one.
