Ibiza in Winter?

G'day,
I'm thinking of heading over to Ibiza some time in october/november from Oz. Can someone give me an idea if there is a peak season or if it shuts down over the winter months. Also, some average accomodation prices would be good. But any other info would be greatly appreciated.

woody, as you've posted in the clubbing section i'm going to assume that our famed nightlife is your reason for wanting to come here. if so, you should plan your trip during the 'window of opportunity' that is our clubbing season ie middle of june to middle of september.
if however, you're interested in peace, quiet, sunny days on deserted beaches, chilly evenings in bars with log fires, country walks, good wholesome food at cheap prices and maybe bumping into the odd ibicenco then come here in november.

any help?
