Ibiza in September, help please !

Hi,

I'm going to Ibiza with my partner the week starting 8th September. Could someone please tell me what everything is like out there at that time i.e weather, clubs, atmosphere, bars, restaurants ? We're staying in Playa Den Bossa at a fiesta hotel.

Hi Mischief

Early Sept is great - not ridiculously hot but still hot enough to get a great tan and venture out on an evening without a jacket. The crowds will definately have dispersed somewhat compared to the madness of late July and August, Queues for clubs, taxis etc will be smaller and you tend to get more of the "older clubbers" around in Sept in preparation for the closing parties. Atmosphere is at its best!!8)

Sept is a great time to go imo, having done July, Aug and Sept in the past. Playa Den Bossa is a great place to stay for Space, Bora Bora and only a short distance into Ibiza Town itself for Pacha, El Divino and amazing bars and restaurants - The old town is a fantastic place for sightseeing and on an evening is an experience in itself.

Excellent time to go!:D
 
The two times I've been there I've left on Septemebr 8th, but the clubs are still jumping.. I've also stayed at the Fiesta Hotel... great location!

The weather did start to get a bit cloudier in September, but still warm..

Thanks for the info.

We're staying at the Fiesta Hotel Don Toni, how far away is that from everything ? I know Space and the water park are just behind it.

Also what is the sunset like on that side of the Island, Playa Den Bossa area ? I've stayed In San Antonio before and it was just amazing !

I love when people ask this question, especially phrased so well :)

September is a great time to go. You might be lucky to catch some big closing parties like we did in 04. Amnesia closing party was incredible. I'll never forget the feeling when I walked in that main room for the first time and saw this sea of people everywhere going absolutely nuts.

Im doing my 2nd trip of 06 in September.

Mischief - you will be on the East side of the island - thus you will see wonderful sunrises as opposed to sunsets (which are on the West side of the Island....8) 8) )
