IBIZA IN MAY

Hi,

Been to Ibiza (from '94 to '15) but never outside the months june till october. After a few years of absence I would like to go again this year.
We would like to go the beginning of May and as we are in a team of not so skilled drivers I am considering the moped option to get around.
Never are we going to get on that hill near Cala d'hort nor to Cala Salada.
Okay to keep things short: Any of you guys now what's the traffic like around the first two weeks of May. Suppose it's before the descent of the big masses no? Is it still safe?

I haven't driven but I can say with some certainty that the roads will be pretty empty - certainly compared to August - and I base that on the beach car-parks where there's often a lot of space even mid-afternoon whereas in summer they're packed. So it's locals + about 20% of summer's capacity.

Enjoy, maybe avoid rush-hour around Ibiza town but other than that, should be fun!!
